what are pinhole photography:
Pinhole photography consists of a lightproof box, an aperture (hole) and light-sensitive material. Light is passed through the pinhole to project an inverted (upside down) image onto the paper/film on the opposite end of the camera.
how does a pinhole camera work:
before you go to take your picture, you need to stick a piece of light-sensitive material in the back of the box in a dark room so no light can get in otherwise your photo wont work. Then, making sure the shutter and all sides are closed and there is nowhere light can get in, you can go out and take your picture. To do this you must open the shutter and keep your camera still at all times. The amount of time you leave the shutter open completely depends on how large your camera is and how bright the area your taking your picture is. This means you might need a few goes to get it right. After you've taken your picture , close the shutter and return to the dark room. No light can get in until you are in the dark room. Then develop it and reverse it on photoshop so it is positive instead of negative.
